In 2011 the US Pro Mini Golf Association (USPMGA) awarded Branson, MO the honor of hosting the 2011 US Miniature Golf Open.
Golfers came from all over the US and abroad to play in this tournament. Olivia Prokopova, age 16, from the Czech Republic was the winner. She was the youngest ever to win the tournament.
